Uganda’s nationwide netball groups, the She Cranes and The Rock, have been flagged off to Nairobi, Kenya, forward of this month’s Africa Netball Championship.
The 2026 Africa Netball showpiece is scheduled for September 19–26 in Kenya’s capital.
Assistant Common Secretary administration Joseph Oluga flagged off the 2 groups on Monday at Copper Chimney, Lugogo.
Kampala College proprietor and Patron of The Rock, the lads’s nationwide netball staff, Prof. Badru Ddungu Kateregga, Netball Uganda President Jocelyn Ucanda and members of the federation’s govt committee have been additionally in attendance.
The groups will journey to Nairobi by bus on Tuesday morning as they purpose for continental glory.
The She Cranes have gained the championship thrice, lifting the trophy in Botswana in 2014, Uganda in 2017 and Zambia in 2018. They may now be in search of a fourth title as they purpose to strengthen their place amongst Africa’s main netball nations.
